New Corona Guidelines: The concern of the Union Health Ministry has also increased regarding the increasing cases of corona in the country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued new guidelines on Sunday (March 19) regarding the treatment of adults in view of the increase in the cases of Kovid-19. The new guidelines stated that antibiotics should not be used unless there is clinical suspicion of a bacterial infection.

It was said in the new guidelines that it should be noted that there is no other viral infection along with the corona. Do not take systemic and corticosteroids on mild illness. Physical distance, use of indoor mask, monitoring of body temperature and oxygen level will have to be done.

New guidelines issued regarding Corona

In the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, it was said that if difficulty in breathing, fever, cough persists for more than 5 days, immediately consult a doctor. These guidelines were discussed in the month of January. In case of severe symptoms or high fever, remdesivir (200 mg IV on the first day and then 100 mg IV OD for the next 4 days) can be considered for five days.

Wrote letter to these states

Earlier on Thursday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had written to the state governments of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka to follow the strategy of testing, tracking, treating and vaccinating. Because an increase in the cases of Kovid-19 is being seen in these states.

Corona situation in the country

There was a significant decline in Kovid-19 cases in the country during the last few months. However, an increase in cases has been observed in the last few weeks. After 129 days, more than 1,000 cases of Kovid-19 were registered in a day in India, while the number of patients under treatment increased to 5,915.

According to the data of the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Sunday (March 19), a total of 1,071 new cases of infection were registered in the country within 24 hours, while the death toll increased to 5,30,802 due to the loss of three more patients.
